What is this service?
The Early Assist program prioritizes student support and early intervention. It provides NIC faculty, staff, and students a mechanism to refer students who may be facing academic or other challenges and connect them with a team that can facilitate access to timely and appropriate supports and services.
To submit a referral, click on the "Request Service" button on this page.
The Early Assist program responds to referrals during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding statutory and NIC holidays). You can expect a response to an Early Assist referral in 24 – 48 hours.
