What is this service?
Request a room booking for the Comox Valley or Campbell River Indigenous Gathering Spaces.
The Indigenous Gathering Spaces, qatᶿɛnxʷɛgəs (Comox Valley) and Q̓ə pix ʔidaʔas (Campbell River) at North Island College are places for connection, reflection, learning, and community. They were created in the spirit of the Working Together Indigenization Plan to honour Indigenous knowledges, languages, and cultural practices; to foster relationship-building between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples; and to create welcoming spaces where learning happens in good ways.
Before submitting your booking, please take a moment to reflect on how your event or activity aligns with these purposes. This helps ensure the spaces remain respectful, culturally safe, and used in ways that uphold the intent for which they were created.
